Santa Claus

So Mackenzie and Elisabeth (our god-daughter) went to visit with Santa. We were hoping that having a friend would make it less scary for each of them. Gauging from the pictures, you can see how well that worked. Funny though - as soon as we got out of direct Santa proximity - Mackenzie was waving and blowing kisses to Santa. And since the visit - he has been her favorite topic of conversation...even calling him on her phone. And when she tells me "I like Santa Claus" - I do remind her "but you cried when you met him". So now she calls Santa to say she is sorry for crying. And from what I have overhead in the Santa conversations - the kitty would like chicken nuggets, Foster wants a ball, as does Mackenzie - along with a purse and fruit snacks.

8 Tiny Reindeer

Our own reindeer, seen here modeling her reindeer towel. But when we were discussing Santa with her and asked if she knew the names to the eight tiny reindeer - her response "yes! Ooh, Eee, Ooh, Aah, Aah" if you don't get it - try singing it to yourself a time or two... We think this stems from her favorite movie (see below for more help if necessary).

"Fwoot Nacks"

It's all about the "fwoot nacks" people!! In continuing our holiday discussions, we have been asking Mackenzie what she would like to give to her friends and family. Be prepared - you will all be receiving "fwoot nacks". Sometimes, she even goes on to tell us "Insert name here likes fwoot nacks, Mommy!" The kitty however, will also be receiving a "dogdog", Gracie will be getting a balloon and Grandma Jane apparently needs a Daddy, according to Mackenzie. On that note....I will end. :)
